Touching The World with The Gift of Music  

The New Destiny School of Music & Fine Arts is a music school designed to create music leaders and professionals to touch the world with the gift of music. Bernard Corbett is the Director and Founder of our school. His vision is to create music professionals who have a passion and appreciations for music and the joy it brings.

 

Bernard is a music professional with over 30 years of experience in developing music artist and leaders. He is also a noted Off-Broadway Music Director for productions such as “Crowns”, “The Oldest Profession”, “ Mama I Want To Sing” just to name a few. We believe here at New Destiny that each student is unique therefore we tailor our programs to meet your need.

New Destiny specializes in Music development on varies instruments Piano, Bass, Drums, Brass, Woodwind and Strings. We are also passionate about voice coaching, as individuals or in a group setting. New Destiny also offers music mentorship programs where we cultivate musicians who are presently on staff at their local church; music excellences is our goal and we strive to transform lives and communities by using the vehicle of music.

New Destiny’s teachers are trained professionals who are highly skilled to teach many different genres of music. Our immediate goal is to expose our students to great music and writers by which in time will allow them to develop a knowledge and appreciation for different music aspects.   

Our long-term objective is that the success our students achieve in our music programs will provide them a foundation upon which to build their self-confidence in other challenging academic pursuits. Student’s involvement is key so we provide an opportunity to our students to share in two live performances per years, which are our Spring Concert and Fall Recital.
